eSignature Services
DocuProp's eSignature Services allow you to securely send and manage documents for electronic signing, streamlining your document workflow and ensuring legal compliance.
Overview of eSignature Services
To access eSignature features:
- Navigate to eSignature from the sidebar on your dashboard.
- You will arrive at the eSignature Services dashboard, which provides an overview of all your e-signature activities.
Key Features
- eSign Status: Track and view the status of all your e-signatures.
- Sign New Document: Create and send documents for e-signing.
- eSign History: View the complete history of signed documents.
- eSign Credits: Monitor usage and purchase more credits as needed.
eSign Status
Track the progress of all your e-signature requests with latest updates and activities.
Status Filters
Use the tabs at the top of the page to filter documents:
- All
- Draft
- Waiting for others
- Completed
- Declined
- Expired
- Revoked
Document List
Each document entry displays:
- Title
- Status (e.g., Completed, Signed by 1 signer)
Sign New Document
Create and send documents for electronic signing.
Steps to Prepare a Document:

Navigate to Sign New Document
From the eSignature dashboard, click on Sign New Document. -
Property-Related Document
Indicate whether the document is property-related by selecting Yes or No. -
Add File
- Upload/Drag Documents: Drag and drop your PDF file or click Browse files.
- Preferred Format: PDF

Add Recipients
- Name: Enter the recipient’s full name.
- Email: Enter the recipient’s email address.
- Add New Recipient: Click to include more recipients.
- Signing Order: Enable to enforce sequential signing.

Document Details
- Title: A clear and descriptive title (e.g., Residential Tenancy Agreement).
- Message: Optional message with instructions or context.

Save & Next
Proceed to the next step to place signature fields on the document.
eSign Status Details
Click a document to view its detailed signing status.
Document Details
- Status: Current overall status (e.g., Waiting for others)
- Sent By: User who sent the document
- Sent On: Date and time sent
- Last Activity: Latest action timestamp
- Expires On: Expiration time (editable)
- Auto Reminder: Shows if reminders are enabled
You can also click Remind now to send one manually.
Recipient Details
A table listing all recipients with:
- Recipient Role (e.g., Tenant, Guarantor, Landlord)
- Recipient Name & Email
- Last Activity
- Status (e.g., Sent, Pending, Signed)
Remind Recipients
Send reminders to recipients who haven’t signed yet.
- Go to the eSign Status Details page.
- Click More actions > Remind.
- In the popup:
- Select Recipients: Check individual boxes or use Select All.
- Optional Message: Add a custom message.
- Click Remind Now to send.
Revoke Document
To cancel a signature request:
- From the eSign Status Details page, click More actions > Revoke.
- Confirm the revocation when prompted.
eSign Credits History
Monitor your eSignature credit usage for transparency and budgeting.
Each entry includes:
- Date: When credits were used
- Credits Spent: Number of credits used
- Used By: User who triggered the action
- Document Type: Type of document (e.g., Tenancy Document)
- Document Details: Title and associated property or context
This page helps you plan and manage your future eSignature activities efficiently.
