Quit Notice System (QNS)
DocuProp's Quit Notice System (QNS) allows you to generate and manage various types of notices for your properties, streamlining the communication process with tenants and stakeholders.
Purchase QNS
Before using QNS for a property, you may need to purchase QNS for a perticular property.
Eligibility
- QNS is available only for eligible properties.
Purchase Process
When activating QNS or generating certain notices for the first time, you might be prompted to purchase credits.
Steps:
- A dialog box will appear.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the purchase or activation process.
Activate QNS for a Property
Once available, QNS must be activated per property.
Steps:

Navigate to Property Manager
From the dashboard sidebar, click Property Manager. -
Locate the Property
Find the desired property in the list. -
Activate QNS
Click the Activate QNS button found either in the property's row or details view. -
QNS Tab Appears
After activation, a QNS tab will be available when viewing/editing that property's details.
Create a Notice Using QNS
Once QNS is activated for a property, you can create different notice types as needed.
Steps:

Navigate to the QNS Tab
Go to the property details and click on the QNS tab. -
Select Notice Type
You will be presented with a list of notice types, including:- Notice to Quit: Formally send a notice to end a tenancy.
- Seven Days Notice: Formally send a final seven day eviction notice.

Fill in Notice Details
After selecting a notice type, a form will appear. Complete the following fields:- Landlord’s Name: Name and details of the landlord.
- Tenant’s Name: Name and details of the tenant.
- Property Address: Full address of the property.
- Notice Period: Duration of the notice (e.g., 6 Months Notice).
- Issuing Date: Date of notice issuance.
- Date of Possession: Date the property must be vacated.

Generate/Save Notice
After filling in all required fields:- Click Save & Continue.
- The system will create a formal document, which can be previewed, downloaded, or sent for e-signing via the platform.
